My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Monte Do Alamo. The friendly welcome and unique accommodation made us feel like part of the family. The peaceful location was perfect for a relaxing getaway. We loved the special dinner nights where we got to meet other guests and share travel tips. The walk to the center of town was easy and enjoyable, taking only around 20 minutes. The option to have small meals or breakfast to take away was a great convenience. it was a memorable week at this great and charming place.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Unbelievable farmhouse close to a vibrant town and stunning beaches. The dinner at the house is mind-blowing, with Ines as the talented chef. Rosario, the owner, is helpful and fun. The breakfast is top-notch, thanks to Maria. The location is perfect, with easy access to Tavira and other small towns. The property offers breathtaking views. The staff is friendly, especially Ana. The suite room with a terrace and sea views is jaw-dropping. Highly recommended for a peaceful and luxurious experience.

The location was convenient, just a short drive away from a beautiful town and stunning beaches. The staff at Monte Do Alamo were friendly and helpful, creating a warm and personal atmosphere.
The breakfast experience could have been better with a wider variety of options.

Monte do Álamo is a wonderful countryside location that offers the genuine hospitality of a Portuguese family home. Our family enjoyed exploring the nearby water adventures like kayaking, windsurfing, and boat tours. The owners created a great personal atmosphere and the homemade jam from their own orchards at breakfast was a delicious touch. The accommodation and surrounding garden were beautiful, and the owners provided us with fantastic recommendations for exploring Tavira and its surroundings.
My children wanted more activities specifically designed for families with children.

I chose Monte Do Alamo - Turismo Rural Villa solely for its location near the Island of Tavira, as I wanted to visit it. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the availability of free Wi-Fi throughout the property. It made it convenient for me to stay connected while enjoying my vacation. Additionally, the option to rent bikes and request packed lunches allowed me to explore the region easily and try the local delicacies from Algarve and Alentejo. The outdoor pool and the multiple bars/lounges added to the relaxing ambiance, and I enjoyed the complimentary continental breakfast and the terrace with a view.
Slight noise from Tavira bypass. But it did not detract from our overall enjoyment.

The location of this guesthouse is truly jaw-dropping - nestled in the quiet countryside, yet just a short drive from the beautiful town of Tavira. The hosts provide a clear route description to help navigate the streets with no names in the Algarve. Breakfast is served on a lovely terrace and although it may be limited, the homemade jam from their own orchards adds a special touch. The highlight of our stay was the traditional homemade dinner on Saturday evening - delicious food, great company, and a chance to taste local specialties. The accommodations are tastefully furnished, with a comfortable bed and modern bathroom. The owners create a wonderful personal atmosphere and provide fantastic recommendations for exploring Tavira and its surroundings. a perfect combination of relaxation and being able to explore the unspoiled beauty of the Algarve.

The breakfast at this guesthouse was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of local produce and homemade jams that were mind-blowing. The view of Tavira from the property was jaw-dropping, and although our room didn't have a direct view, we were upgraded to a room with a view which was super. The bathroom was spacious and luxurious, and we were pleasantly surprised that after check out, we were still able to take a shower before heading out. The location was incredibly convenient, with easy access to Tavira and all its attractions. We were also impressed by the range of activities offered, from weekly yoga classes to picnics and cooking classes. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. we had an amazing time and would definitely come back again.

I recently stayed at Monte Do Alamo - Turismo Rural Villa in Tavira for a business trip, as recommended by my director. my experience was quite pleasant and I enjoyed my stay there.
Sadly, the beds were quite uncomfortable, with noticeable iron springs that were difficult to ignore.
